We are growing - and we have now introduced two shifts in our production department! Therefore, we are looking for you who want to be part of our production team, are curious about fiber optics and want to work practically to build high-quality products. 

About the role

As an assembler at Micropol, you play a central role in the assembly process of our fiber optic products. Your workday begins at your assigned workstation, where you receive and process orders according to assembly instructions. 

You are responsible for retrieving the right components and starting the production process. When your part is finished, you hand over the work to a colleague who, for example, terminates, polishes, or final assembles the product. Finally, the finished product is packed and sent to the customer – often within the defense and security industry, but also within civil defense and the telecom industry.

The work involves handling certain chemicals. Asthma or other respiratory sensitivities may pose a barrier to working in this environment, and therefore an approved medical examination is required before employment can begin.

Working hours:

• Week 1 (Monday-Friday): 05:30-14:15 
• Week 2 (Monday-Thursday): 13:30-23:15 

During the first two months, the introduction takes place during daytime (07:00–16:00), before you transition to two shifts.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, has an eye for detail, and enjoys working with their hands. You like to take on repetitive tasks and find it easy to collaborate, while also contributing a positive attitude to the group.

To succeed in the role, you need to have completed high school education and very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written – as it is important that you can follow instructions and document your work correctly.

Good fine motor skills and sufficient color vision are crucial in daily work. If you have experience from similar tasks or soldering it is a plus, but the most important thing is that you have the right attitude – we will ensure that you receive the training and support you need.
